Right of information

Basic information about data protection. Users must provide certain personal data in order to access some of the services offered through the website www.adif.es. In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR), ADIF processes the personal data supplied for the purpose of facilitating access to the services offered through the website www.adif.es. The legal basis for processing personal data is the public interest or the exercise of public powers. No data will be disclosed to third parties, except for legal obligations.

ADIF, as the Data Controller, will adopt all the technical and organisational measures required to ensure the security of these data by avoiding their alteration, loss or unauthorised processing and access. ADIF will process these data in accordance with the terms and conditions indicated herein and pursuant to the specific terms and conditions of the service in question.

Users may exercise their rights to access, rectify, erase, object to and restrict the processing of their data by submitting a request to ADIF in the legally-established manner via the email address dpd.adif@adif.es or postal address Calle Sor Ángela de la Cruz, 3-7ª Planta, 28020 - Madrid, attaching a photocopy of their national identity document or passport.

Purpose of processing your personal data

ADIF processes the personal data you supply for the purpose of facilitating your access to the services offered through the website www.adif.es.

Your data will be kept for the period strictly necessary to fulfil this purpose. Thereafter, they will be blocked and only accessed to determine any responsibilities deriving from this purpose and the processing of your data.

- Request the erasure of your data—for example, if they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected—in which case ADIF will cease to process them, except for the exercise or defence of legal claims (right to erasure).

- Request the restriction of the processing of your data, in which case they may only be processed with your consent or for the exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or of a Member State (right to restriction of processing).

- Object to the processing of your data, in which case ADIF will cease to process them, except for the defence of legal claims (right to object).

- Withdraw your consent for the purpose indicated in the section "Purpose of processing your personal data". This will not affect the legality of the processing based on your consent prior to its withdrawal (right to withdraw consent).
