Information on service facilities

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2177
On November 23, 2017, Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2177 of November 22, 2017, on access to service facilities and related services for railways, applicable from 2019, was published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
This Regulation lays down the details of the procedure and criteria to be followed for access to service facilities and related rail services, which are set out in points 2, 3 and 4 of Annex II of Directive 2012/34/EU, and the basic procedures for handling and coordinating requests for the publication of information.

In accordance with Article 4 of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2177, operators of service facilities shall establish a service facility description for the service facilities and services for which they are responsible, which must include the information referred to therein.
