Chamartín opens up an additional 2,000 m² of concourse space and reclaims its main entrance

Travelers can now enjoy an additional 2,112 m² of concourse at the Chamartín-Clara Campoamor station and once again enter through the plaza, now covered by a large glass dome that protects them from the elements.

The vault comprises a prefabricated system of 253 cylindrical nodes and 698 rectangular steel bars, with an enclosure of laminated and tempered glass. 

The historic Estació de França unveils its new canopy

Barcelona's Estació de França now showcases the refurbished roof of its iconic platform canopy, a key structure of this historic station and a landmark in the city. Adif has invested €5.5 million in the renovation.
 
The refurbished canopy roof can now be viewed in a panoramic view and from the platforms themselves. Designed by Andreu Montaner i Serra, the structure—covering almost 23,800 m2 (the equivalent of three football fields) and rising 29 m high—spans the station’s twelve tracks and seven platforms.

Montcada-Bifurcació Station

Secure parking for bikes and scooters

Title
  • The following locations have secure bike and scooter parking spaces located outside the passenger station building that are open 24 hours 365 days a year. 
  • The bikehangar is closed, covered and holds up to six bicycles. It is designed for intensive use and protects bikes from adverse weather conditions, theft, and vandalism.
  • This service helps facilitate energy-efficient, zero-emission mobility, and boosts clean, sustainable intermodal urban transport (Adif's Ecomilla Program).
