This orientation implies a commitment to global and local challenges in the field of inclusive economic development, health, social cohesion, respect for the environment and good governance.
Therefore, the Entity is working to fulfill this commitment to sustainable development by aligning its strategy with the United Nations Sustainable Development Agenda.

Ambitious actions to achieve the SDGs of the United Nations Global Compact Spain Adif participates in this programme that supports companies to establish ambitious business objectives and accelerate the integration of SDGs in the management of their business activities. The initiative enables companies to harness the business value of the SDGs, increase resilience and achieve long-term growth.

Comprehensive ODS Training Programme for employees

Online training action carried out through the United Nations Global Compact Spain.

Sustainability and CSR Action Group in Public Companies in Forética.

Led by Adif and ICO, it is a collaborative platform for leadership in sustainability and CSR for the public business sector, with the aim of advancing in the field of business sustainability and contributing to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

UIC SDG Rail Index Working Group

Platform composed of railway infrastructure managers, railway operators and companies in the railway sector that deals with different aspects related to non-financial reporting, with the aim of identifying the relevant SDGs for the railway, establishing weights for each of them to achieve harmonization of ESG standards.

Framework Agreement for the Fulfillment of the 2030 Agenda.

Adif, together with other public companies, has signed this agreement with the Secretary of State for the 2030 Agenda to establish a stable channel of collaboration that gives coherence and continuity to all the initiatives, programmes, measures and actions they jointly develop to advance in the fulfillment of the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda.
