Education
Adif wishes to be present in the field of education and to establish a connection with the school population and with university students. We seek to promote the values of the railway heritage and Adif's own values across the school population, showing our alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and with special emphasis on health, safety, respect for the environment and social cohesion.
We want to make Adif known to children and young people and to stimulate their interest in railway industry occupations, especially in engineering and technical disciplines (STEM), with special emphasis on girls and young women. Finally, we try to reinforce the presence of the railway industry and Adif in the academic world by providing learning resources aligned with the concept of sustainable mobility and infrastructures.
The commitment to education is materialized, among others, through the following initiatives:
- Collaboration with the Women and Engineering Program of the Royal Academy of Engineering
- Professional Internship Program at Adif
